Tiffany Thomas is a native of Florence, South Carolina. Born in 1985, she was raised with her siblings on their family”s farm and experienced the ups and downs that are associated with farm life. She incorporates memories from her childhood into her paintings through the use of bright colors, which are associated with playfulness. She also incorporates reclaimed wood discarded from old houses and buildings in her mixed media collage paintings. Her ceramic work focuses on an array of figures from cups and mugs to light fixtures, vases, and plates. Her clay of choice is translucent porcelain, fired with colorful stains and glazes. The finished creations are the perfect combination of luxury and quirk.
